Revenue Management Consolidated Center Revenue Management Consolidated Center

Revenue Management Consolidated Center

Established in 2004, Hilton’s Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) was created to support properties in achieving superior market share and profitability. With technology developed specifically for the Hilton portfolio, our team analyzes past, current, and future trends to help set price and inventory strategies.

Our Approach

We believe every Hilton property has unique strengths and challenges. That’s why we provide service and cost models tailored to each hotel, reflecting business complexity, size, and market environment. We provide appropriate levels of engagement depending on your needs, ensuring you’re fully engaged in decision-making and continue to own revenue performance.

Our Services

We care about the specific features/ dynamics of your hotel and take learning about the individual characteristics of your hotel seriously. Each hotel is properly profiled, gathering data such as the type of market (e.g. primary, secondary or tertiary), size and meeting space, revenue level, mix of business and current revenue management support structure. Then we provide a brochure that specifically highlights the RMCC Service Model that we feel, through the profiling process, is most appropriate for your hotel.

Information Technology

At Hilton, we see Information Technology as a connection between vision and world-class technology. With our unmatched level of integration, resources, and partnerships, we deliver everything from core reservation and property management systems to high-speed Internet, data security, and in-room entertainment. This ensures that our guests have a better experience and our properties are able to generate increased revenues.

Our properties benefit from IT solutions that help streamline hotel operations. Core Values & Heritage

Founded by J. Willard and Alice Marriott, and guided by family leadership since 1927, their principles remain embedded in the company’s culture and in everything we do today.

Our Story

1927-1956

It all began with an A&W root beer stand. Founder J. Willard Marriott and his wife, Alice, got their young business off the ground by quenching people’s thirst during Washington D.C.’s hot, muggy summers. Good food and good service at a fair price became a guiding principle for Hot Shoppes restaurants--and for Marriott International as it grew.

1927

Newlyweds J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott, along with business partner Hugh Colton, open the first A&W root beer franchise in Washington, D.C.

1927

The Marriotts add hot food items to their menu--a first for A&W franchises--and the name "Hot Shoppes" is born.

1928 Hot Shoppes

The Marriotts open two more Hot Shoppes, including the East Coast's first drive-in restaurant.

1937

In-flight airline catering debuts when Hot Shoppes begins delivery of boxed lunches to passengers at Hoover Airport, south of Washington, D.C.

1953

Hot Shoppes, Inc. stock becomes public at $10.25/share and sells out in two hours of trading.

The Growth Years

1957-1985

Marriott made a historic shift into the hotel business in 1957. The world’s first motor hotel opened in Arlington, Virginia, under the management of J. Willard Marriott’s son, Bill. Over the next 25 years, Marriott became a diverse global enterprise, and Bill Marriott became a visionary CEO whose leadership transformed the hospitality industry.
